PROJECT A LA CARTE, Inc.
"With PROJECT A LA CARTE, I put my 12+ years of corporate experience in Project Management and Online Marketing to the service of small businesses, to help them harness the power of Internet and reach their online potential"

PROJECT A LA CARTE, Inc. brings an extensive experience in Project Management and Strategic Planning applied to E-commerce, Online Marketing, CRM and Software development projects through its Founder & President, Christel Pellerin, a French woman who has worked over 12 years in the Travel and Consulting industries, both in France and in the U.S.

As a talented professional with distinguished career-leading operations, project development and engineering innovative technology and Internet Business solutions, Christel has had repeated success guiding sizeable, cross-functional teams and the design, re-design and launch of cutting-edge E-commerce business solutions to meet company objectives.

She has proven abilities in planning and directing projects from concept to completion, evaluating issues and driving technical solutions.

After graduating from Lille School of Management in 1994, she started her career as Business Development Coordinator at Degriftour (now merged with Lastminute.com), which was the first online travel agency on the French Minitel and then moved onto the Internet a few years later. She then left to complete an MBA in the U.S. The subject of her thesis was “Deregulation in the European Airline Industry.”

When she went back to France, she started to work for Novaxis, a startup consulting company specializing in the integration of large CRM programs (Siebel, Vantive, etc). Because of her background in the Travel industry, she was assigned to work for Club Méditerranée, which at the time was just undertaking an enterprise-wide change management project initiated by the newly appointed CEO, Philippe Bourguignon. She joined the team in charge of the commercial aspects of the project and helped redesign the application for the reservation system at a worldwide level. Club Med offered her a position in their headquarters as part of what would later become the PMO office taking on several projects related to the reservation system.

In 2001, she was transferred to the Club Med office in Miami as the liaison for North America for a worldwide project of redesigning the Property Management System. Unfortunately, the project was cut short before the roll-out phase due to non-conclusive tests on the French site. Because of her previous experience on the reservation systems, Christel moved to the IT Department where she occupied different positions managing projects, developing new software, providing functional assistance and training from the call-center to the resorts. She obtained her PMP certification in 2005 through self-learning.

In 2006, she took on a new role as Director, Internet & CRM where her knowledge of Club Med’s various applications and data model allowed her to create and develop a Direct Marketing strategy and a CRM program. She also oversaw the launch of the newly re-designed website, managing a $1.5 million annual budget and a team of three persons.

In 2008, capitalizing on her past experiences and her expertise in Project Management, Christel decided to leave Club Med after 10 years and start her own consulting company, PROJECT A LA CARTE.

Christel is an active member of the PMI South Florida Chapter and is involved in her community, as she has been on the Board of her Condominium Association since 2003. She enjoys cooking French cuisine for her friends; she is also an equestrian and owns two horses in France.
