• Front Desk operations of this resort were often overwhelmed by the number of customers arriving/leaving altogether, due to transportation constraints. • Long lines at the Front Desk created unnecessary frustration among both customers and Front Desk employees. ROLE of PROJECT MANAGER

• A Fast Check-out solution was developed in-house • It allowed the customers of the resort to do their check-out themselves, at their convenience • All charges incurred during the customer’s stay were displayed for their review from the hotel’s PMS system • The customer could charge them to the credit card they had on file at the Front Desk R E S U L T S
![]() This new application alleviated the Front Desk shifts and gave more flexibility to the customers
![]() It also entitled the resort company to check the client information and collect e-mail addresses for future marketing actions
![]() Even though the kiosk experienced a slow start in terms of use due to initial hardware problems, the project was a success and additional features like “buying pictures” taken at the resort during the client’s stay were considered
